Academic Excellence and Understanding of an Athlete’s Challenges

One of our most important differences is that we know exactly what it's like for our students, because we all attended and graduated from the same kinds of competitive, selective, academically intense schools/programs they attend now. We know what kind of work it takes to succeed in five AP classes, because some of us did exactly that. We know hard work, and striving for the best, and the ups and downs along the way. On top of all that, many of us are equestrians or accomplished athletes in other sports, and know how to manage the academic logistics within a schedule of year-round training and competition.

Exceptional Faculty 

Busy, goal-oriented student-athletes must have experienced teachers. An exceptional and prepared faculty ensures that students use their academic time most effectively. Signature educators are experts in their subjects. Two-thirds of the teachers have graduate-level degrees, including M.S., M.A., M.B.A., and J.D. degrees. Half of those with Master’s degrees have also earned, or are in the process of earning, one or more Ph.D. degrees. 

Physical Locations with On-Site Educators

Signature Academics has physical locations for students, teachers, and tutors to meet and work, and for students to work independently with access to educators for questions and extra help. Our academic centers in Wellington and Ocala, plus temporary locations at major national horse shows, allow us to supervise and oversee teaching and learning and to address students’ needs as they arise. Of course, some students choose to have their tutors meet them in their homes; only the most experienced educators with proven track records make those house calls. 

Our Wellington location (with a science lab!) opened in December 2017 at 12300 South Shore Blvd, Suite 90. Our seasonal Ocala location is open each year in January, February, and March (longer if necessary) at 9483 NW 137th Ave., Morriston, Florida.
